Carrie’s confessions

Binge watching TV. This is a wild concept for mum as she can’t understand why you would want to watch more than one episode of something in one day. She cries out in panic as the next episode of Downton Abbey starts auto playing on Netflix, often pressing the skip button instead of pausing it.
Texting and walking at the same time. Just can’t do it bless her.
Only fans. I have explained what the function of the platform is but she still thinks it is just pictures of ladies faces.
AI images on Facebook. Sadly I have had to explain to mum that the image of a goat stood on top of a car in front of the London eye is not real.
Doing the washing up naked. Enough said.
Dominos pizza. Admittedly it is very expensive, however sometimes a Dominos just tastes amazing. Mum would rather get a pizza from Waitrose.
Comedy programs and comedians. Programs such as Derry Girls which never fail to see me laugh are very lost on mum. She cannot understand a Northern Irish accent to save her life, and doesn’t get the jokes.

Things that my mother cannot comprehend.
